The day is free to relax or take a walk on the beautiful beaches. Dinner at the hotel and overnight. Day 2 - City Tour of Port Louis Visit Pamplemousses Gardens
After breakfast today, its time to leave for a half-day tour of Port Louis, the capital city of Mauritius. We visit the harbour, sheltered in a semi-circle of mountains, the Natural History Museum - famous for the Dodo, the National bird of Mauritius. See La Citadelle, a stone fortress situated at the top of a hill. Next, we take you to Port Louis market where you can shop at the local stalls and duty free shops. Later we visit the Pamplemousses Gardens known for giant water lilies and other rare species of aquatic plants and flowers. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.
Day 3 - Day at leisure
Breakfast and the day is free. Relax in your hotel, take a stroll on the beach or enjoy the many water sports on your own or provided by the hotel. On this day you can also do the Underwater Walk in Mauritius on your own. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 - Visit Chamarel and Grand Bassin
After breakfast today, we take you on a full day tour of Chamarel and Grand Bassin. We first visit the unique 'Seven Coloured Earth' at Chamarel. Enjoy the cascading streams and silent forests. See mounds of yellow, red, blue and green coloured earth. Enjoy magnificent views of the Black River Gorges. Also visit Grand Bassin, one of the island's two natural lakes. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 - Day at leisure
Breakfast and the day today is free. Relax on the beach and enjoy the free water sports activities provided by the hotel you are staying at or, explore the many shops and local stalls displaying Mauritian artifacts, cotton fabrics, etc. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 – Majestic Ile-aux-Cerfs
After breakfast we proceed to Ile-aux-Cerfs by a speed boat, a beautiful resort on a Robinson Crusoe-like island. Get mesmerized by the picturesque beauty of miles of fine white beaches and crystal clear waters. Relax on the beach, go swimming and enjoy the many water sports at a nominal cost – Parasailing is a must at Ile Aux Cerf. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel. Day 7 - Return home with wonderful memories
Breakfast and today, we check out of the hotel by 12 noon. Later, we drive to the airport for your flight back home. It's time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your Magical Mauritius tour.
